Channel Key Acquires Kaspien’s Amazon Brand Partners

We’re excited to announce that Channel Key has acquired the Amazon-related client assets of Kaspien, a leading e-commerce marketplace growth platform. We began exploring this opportunity in late 2022 and finalized the purchase agreement on June 6, 2023. We will begin onboarding Kaspien’s Amazon clients immediately and expect the entire transition will take approximately 60 days. Kaspien will remain focused on its core Retail business.

“Channel Key has been helping clients grow their Amazon business since 2017,” said Scott Taylor, Chief Operating Officer for Channel Key. “Kaspien is moving their business in a different direction, and we saw a good synergy where we could bring on and serve their Amazon clientele. It was strategically beneficial for Channel Key to purchase Kaspien’s clients and help them continue to grow in the Amazon space while allowing Kaspien to focus on other endeavors.”

Channel Key is devoted to providing brand owners and manufacturers with a winning Amazon strategy and the ecosystem and resources to execute at the highest level possible. This acquisition will benefit our existing brand partners as we continue to expand our resources. It will also help the new brands that join Channel Key as they will experience the high-touch, strategic approach that we provide to all of our clients.

Kaspien’s clients will benefit from Channel Key’s years of operational development. Each brand will now have a dedicated team of Amazon experts including a brand manager, marketing and advertising specialist, operations coordinator, graphic designer, reporting analyst, business administrator, and more. These additional resources will improve their Amazon outcomes in the short and long term and provide greater extensibility.

From an employee perspective, the Channel Key leadership does not anticipate any changes to staff other than bringing over some of Kaspien’s employees. We look forward to adding these individuals to our team and continuing to grow as we add more clients. Our current employees have responded positively to this news, regarding it as a sign of strength and stability during the current economic climate.
